Specific Installation Guide - Wordpress

This article explains how to add the chat box code onto a Wordpress website.

1. Start by logging into the Wordpress site editor
- Go to the main website of the business
- Add “/wp-admin” to the end eg. plumbing123.com to plumbing123.com/wp-admin
This will open up the login page for you. You need to get the username and password from the client.

2. In the left side menu go to Pages > All Pages
You need to edit each one of the pages individually.

Troubleshooting these instructions:
What do I do if there is no section on the page with text?
Sometimes there is no existing text box to place code, so we need to add one in ourselves. 
Don't worry - because we are only placing in code, not actual text, it will not be visible on the clients website.
- Under the Layout Builder select > Content Elements > Text Block
- Scroll to the bottom of the page to find the Text Block box you have just added.
- Click to edit
- Switch from Visual to Text
- Paste the code & Save
- Update
