Specific Installation Guide - Shopify
This article explains how to add the chat box code onto a Shopify website.
If you are the client and it is your website, skip to step 2
1. Ask the client to add support@leadchat.com as an admin user to their Shopify site
- Find the invitation in Zoho Desk & use the invitation link to create a password.
Always make the password Leadchat!@#
2. In the left side menu go to Online Store > Themes
Click on the dropdown for 'Actions' and select 'edit code'
3. Scroll down to 'Sections' and find the Footer page > this should install the code to all pages
Hint: *The footer page should be called something like "footer.liquid"*
- Paste the iframe code at the very top of the code
- Click ‘Save’
4. Go to the client website and check to make sure the chat box is available on every page of the website
