What Is A Lead?

What Is A Lead?

A lead is a potential customer of your business.
At LeadChat we aim to chat with your website visitors and collect the contact information of leads.

Understandably, there might be some information that you require to make sure that a visitor is the right fit for your product / service.
We call this information gathering; 'lead qualification'.

How we Qualify
To ensure we properly qualify your visitors and only collect the information for actual potential customers, we will work with you to add mandatory questions that the agents will use during the chat.

Only then will the agent move to collect the contact information [name / phone / email].

An example of a Mandatory Qualifying question for a Law Firm might be:
"Is your enquiry pertaining to a legal matter within the state of xxx?"

If the visitor replies NO: The agent will say "Unfortunately at this time we are unable to assist with matters outside the state of xxx"
If the visitor replies YES: The agent will continue to collect the lead's contact information
